It’s not hard to witness the new development that’s been occurring in our Omaha Metro area in recent years. The urbanization that’s flourished, as for example in Midtown and Aksarben, further serves to draw in crowds seeking relatively affordable metropolitan places to live. So what’s the current draw to Omaha? Food! The recent buzz around Omaha’s impressive up-and-coming food scene has been revving up national attention. So why now, might you ask? Well, Omaha has mustered some serious talent when it comes to the art of cooking, and when you throw in the access these Chefs have to local farm fresh ingredients, beautiful things can happen. So if you live in Omaha, take a break from your Friday and Saturday night regulars, and branch out to places such as The Boiler Room, The Grey Plume, J. Coco, or King Fong Café you too may experience fine dining right here in the heartland. Below is a link from the New York Times recognizing these restaurants and Omaha’s grand culinary experience.
