Go Local! Everything You Ever Needed From These Amazing Small Businesses
It’s amazing to watch Omaha continue to grow. And while the big retailers and businesses and event spaces are great attractions, I think it’s important to emphasize the amazing community of small businesses and start-ups we have that give Omaha a raw uniqueness, which I love.
That said, this post is about the local entrepreneurs who have dedicated their lives to making a livelihood they are passionate about for fellow Omahans like you and me to enjoy. Below is a list of businesses you may or may not have heard of from home & décor, music, food & drink and clothing.

Farm to Market

The quintessence of local, Farm to Market is a gift shop that also offers rare antiques and one-of-a-kind furniture pieces. The vintage, yet modern farmhouse look is a thriving trend right now with hit shows like that of HGTV’s “Fixer Upper” and if this look is for you, Farm to Market might be a great place to start. Click here for their Facebook page.
I could probably do an entire blog post about the number of local shops and boutiques Omaha features, but to keep things short and sweet here are two to get you started. In addition to supporting the Omaha community, these small businesses offer a refreshing and personal shopping experience.
